Both sides of the Sioux Steel cattle chute open fully and feature slam-latched panels. The chute features one of the largest injection doors available on the market.
The rear vertical slide gate can be on either end of the palpation cage. The progressive bar will slide up as the animal moves forward. The back tailgate folds in on itself and completely moves out of the way. Drop-down doors have blinders on them to keep the animal focused. The drop-down doors on the sides go all the way down.
A foot pedal opening on the palp door release allows operators to operate hands-free.
Controls can be mounted and run from either side, depending on your operation. Lower side doors do not need to be removed when nursing a calf. The squeeze lever swings away, allowing the chute side to open even when squeezed.
A left-handed manual head gate is standard. Left or right-handed operations are determined by facing forward the same way cattle would be facing in the headgate.
The squeeze chute has a denser, heavier floor with molded cleats that keep the animal's hooves from sliding front to rear and side to side. Molded cleats won't rust and wear out, resulting in longer equipment life.
Now available with palp cage doors that are bolted on and can be moved to open in the opposite direction. (Squeeze Chute model S191440LH)
