This version of the Hamilton nozzle delivers 5.9 gallons per minute at 40 PSI. The #20 refers to the orifice sizing of the model. This is the highest fluid output volume of the Hamilton nozzles, providing the maximum coverage. This model delivers nearly 3 times as much liquid at any given pressure. Applying more spray solution per acre (higher gallons per acre, or GPA) with herbicides is primarily done to improve weed coverage, reduce chemical drift, and ensure the chemical works as well as possible.
