Horn fly control from a single application lasting up to 195 days. Breaks the horn fly cycle with the active ingredient (S)-methoprene. Unique method relies on animal to distribute active ingredient in the manure where horn flies lay eggs. After bolus is administered, it settles into cow’s rumen where it will dissolve over time, releasing the active ingredient consistently for up to 195 days. By disrupting the horn fly life cycle, it effectively prevents the development of pupae into biting adult flies.
Contains 1.5% (S)-methoprene. Each bolus weighs 80 gm.
Directions: Should be administered 30 days before horn flies begin to appear or 30 days prior to the average last frost date in the area. For calves 300-659 lbs - 1/2 bolus; For cattle 660-1,400 lbs - 1 bolus.
