Our credit card processor has increased fees for processing charges of card-not-present transactions. Due to this increased cost, AgCare will charge 3% to process cards not completed in person at the time of your purchase. This is necessary to cover our costs so we can continue to offer the lowest prices on the products you need for your farm, home, or business.
To avoid these fees, we encourage you or your employees to complete your transaction at the time of purchase. We prefer payment by cash or check so we can keep money in our local community. However, we offer credit card payments at no charge if you process them with a physical card at our terminal on site at the time of purchase. We will continue to provide this service along with the added 3% processing fee for transactions made where we have to process without the card being present, for those where this convenience is worth the added expense.
