This perennial upright forb grows up to 6β in height. Flowers appear from July to Sept. Alternate clustered legume 3-leaf clusters scattered around the stem mature from October to March. It is well-known for its ability to control goat parasites. Invasive forb, a type of flowering plant, forms dense stands by sprouting from roots. The species spreads, which makes it a great stand for hillsides.
