A broad-spectrum postemergence herbicide for controlling aquatic and industrial weeds, as well as weeds in turf, ornamental, forestry, roadside, utility rights-of-way, select crops, and other listed terrestrial areas.
This is glyphosate without surfactant, often used by Christmas tree growers, as it kills most grasses and weeds but does not damage established Christmas trees. When applied as instructed for the conditions described for “NONCROP USES”, this product controls undesirable vegetation listed on this label before planting, within and around greenhouses and shadehouses, and as a post-directed spray around established ornamentals and Christmas trees.
- Site Preparation: You can apply these products prior to planting to clear out existing annual and perennial weeds, woody brush, and competitive grasses.
- Directed Applications: For established plantings, applications must be highly targeted. Use fully-directed or semi-directed sprays, shields, or funnels to ensure the spray solution does not contact the foliage, green bark, or buds of the Christmas trees.
- Because the active ingredient in these products is a non-selective glyphosate formulation, it will injure or destroy any desirable green vegetation it touches. When using it on Christmas trees, you must adhere to strict application precautions
