Depending on what you are treating, a common rate is 1.1-2.3 fluid ounces of Pendulum AquaCap Herbicide per 1000 sq ft. This is normally about 1 gallon of water per 1000 sq ft.
You can apply Pendulum AquaCap herbicide in both spring and fall, depending on the weeds you are targeting. For cool-season turf, apply pre-emergent in mid-to-late March-May or August-November.
Pendulum AquaCap herbicide-treated areas are safe to return to once dry, typically after 4-6 hours after watering in.
Pre-emergents such as Pendulum AquaCap Herbicide require water to prevent weeds from germinating. Irrigation may be required if no rainfall is expected. Pendulum AquaCap will be more effective if the application is followed by 1/2 inch of rainfall or its equivalent in sprinkler irrigation.
Pendulum is a residual herbicide that continues to prevent weeds for months after application. It is safe to use in lawns and ornamentals. It will not remain in the soil for longer than 6 months. Avoid the root zone of desired vegetation, such as edibles, flowers, and trees, by at least 5 feet when applying the product.
