An early winter rye with superior performance in the SE. Control erosion, adding organic matter, enhance soil life & suppress weeds. Extensive root system. Rye and vetch or another legume together make an excellent crop blend. Good for animal grazing; it's highly palatable and of high nutritional quality and comes back from grazing and grows again. Rapid establishment and growth, together with weed suppression. Plant at 4-6 lbs per 1000 sq ft, or 60-112 lbs per acre.
