
Older proven sudangrass that is thin stemmed and commonly grown for forage. With finer stems and leaves than sorghum sudangrass, Piper Sudangrass can be used for dry hay or grazing. Known for rapid growth and lower prussic acid content than forghum sudangrass. Produces large amounts of organic matter and suppresses weeds. Small seeded. More hardy and resilent than most sudangrass. 25-35#/A planting rate.
